Half-English, half-Jamaican Dame is an alternative rapper and singer with an eclectic ear. Growing up, he was exposed to a diverse pond of artists, ranging from composer Thomas Newman to jazz musician Gil Scott-Heron to Kendrick Lamar. This diverse musical upbringing has greatly influenced Dame's hypnotic, smooth, melodic, and lyrical style.

In addition to his solo endeavours, Dame has formed a close affiliation with the band Monster Florence. This collaboration has resulted in his feature on their long-anticipated album “Master System”, which dropped at the start of 2023. The album's release has been met with great acclaim and has further cemented Dame's reputation as an artist to watch.
